I'm continually amazed how comfortable we become when we establish good habits. We don't need to think about habits we have had for a long time. Your brain takes a break and you can think about other things at the same time. When you lick an envelope, do you lick from one side all the way to the other? Or do you lick to the middle, then lick the other half? Do you put on your left shoe first? Or do you start with the right? It's funny but if I start by putting on the opposite shoe as usual I find I can't keep my balance! Thank God for good habits. Comments
